How are you storing/organizing your (flat) materials?

I had to spend the afternoon organizing my desk. I had numerous "projects" stashed in drawers within my desk and finally put away a bunch of materials that began accumulating out in the open. This is a work in progress.

Over the last year or so my materials collection has exploded. It used to fit in an old tackle box. Not so much any more. I've been gifted some, bought some and over the holidays my father-in-law gave me a large chunk of his collection. It's getting out of hand. I'm going to take these suggestions and retool my desk. A couple things to add to the discussion. A label maker is nice to have. Makes nice easy to read labels. Another thing i like are 3-ring binders. I get clear sleeves to hold materials. You can get sleeves with dividers too. Easy to thumb through and keeps it all together. Finally, protect materials from your pets too. Don't ask me how I know. 1000002066.jpg

I started storing my hooks this way in trading card sleeves. I just ordered some larger pocket sleeves like yours marketed for seed packets to use for dubbing bags. Didn't know they existed - thanks!
