Gearing up for fall fishing

I have the Reddingtons. Worth the money for sure. Been wearing them for about 15 plus years, same pair ( washed a few times of course) :). Also great for backpacking, sleeping in the hammock, cross country/downhill skiing etc.

I put liner socks on in warm weather or lite wool poly blend socks in cooler weather. Then I put the waders on and slide the sitrrups over the socks. It is also possible to not use the stirrups by just pulling them to the side or back of the ankle. No need to cut them.

As mentioned above, if you slide the stirrups to the side or back, take your socks and slide them over the bottom of the pants to hold them secure in the waders. They wont ride up this way.

They are a great piece of multi use gear.

Be safe.

Here's one more positive vote for the Redington pants. I'm a fish bio and have done fish sampling events in 34 degree water with outside temps in the 10-20 range and have been as close to comfy as I can get with some heavier long underwear as well.
