We are under contract to sell our house here in Colorado and this week we'll be making an offer on a home in the Columbia Gorge..

If all goes according to plan we'll be home in early May..

I'd be more excited but I have a bent towards pessimism.. I am sure however that none of my nightmares will come true:)
Can't wait..

Oregon side or Washington side?
When I sold my home in WA and bought a home here in OR it kicked my ass.
I'm so glad I moved.
Wenachee, WA had three ft. of snow this winter. Glide, OR had two in.
Congrats on yer move.

We are doing everything we can to stay on the Washington side.
1. We have my mom with us and Oregon will tax her retirement
2. Washington has easy to get OTC deer and elk tags.

Plus Washington is way cooler than Oregon..

Good luck Rob, hope it all goes smoothly.

Buying and selling houses have been the most stressful times in my life. Someone once told me the best thing to do is grit your teeth, put your head down and just power through it. Which I guess is good advice. There were times when I wanted to just throw in the towel and not move because it was pushing me so far out of my comfort zone. But in hindsight I’m glad I persevered, and you will be too.
