Feather question?

So, since I live and fish in eagle, goose, and turkey country...I am wondering... What kinda of feather is this...

I am sure you aware ---> you can not possess eagle feathers. Please be careful about that....
 
You don't need a two-page me too thread, but that is unquestionably wild turkey.
It does not even vaguely resemble eagle.

Edit to say: I'm sure you would do the right thing if it had been eagle, but the best policy would be to simply walk away. The explanation that, "I was taking it to tribal authorities" has been heard too many times to save you a fine and jail time.

Sooo...lemme get this straight. If I discard a pop can the cops can recover it and get my DNA. If I recover a discarded feather from an eagle I go to jail...where they will forcefully take my DNA! It's all a massive conspiracy to collect my DNA!

Great feather database! Better than The Feather Atlas.
The Feather Atlas does, however, make note that it's illegal to possess any North American native bird feather (not only eagle feathers), with some exceptions:

Mallards are not native to north America?
 
All of my materials are genuine, DNA tested, ASPCA certified, Marx endorsed, horse feathers.
 
Turkey. You could do a lot of dry fly or nymph bodies with biots from smaller side, or wing cases or even wings from larger side of the feather. I find those feathers in local park every July. Lots of Canadian geese change feathers in early summer.
