I don't haven't hunted the west side since the 80s (for upland), but after looking at the regs again, I don't see anything about that requirement. I did see that they have extended the season at specific sites, but no birds released. I can't find any comment as to why they did this.It's been several years since I went hunting pheasant, due to pandemic shutdown. I used to have to pick odd or even numbered weekend days to start hunting at 0800. I don't see that referred to on the WDFW regulations website. Did they eliminate that requirement?
Might you have a link to more info on this. I have hunted the release sites for 40 years (always in afternoons to avoid the gong show) and it has been beyond slow for me. There is nothing posted on the boards and they were happy to take my money for a license a few weeks ago.Are you guys aware of the fact the producer of the birds is being shut down?
