Coated Running Line Crowd - solution?

Another thought/comment. While I really like the dragontail for heavier rods on which I use multiple heads, I have come to prefer integrated running lines on my trout Spey. SA Spey lites.

I’m one of the ones that rave about it. Love the rubbery feel and the GSP is zero stretch.
I used that on a couple of reels for several years. Really liked the stuff. Very sensitive. My home shop stopped stocking it so I switched to something else, but I may go back. The people running the company are great. I needed to weld some loops so I called them and they sent the shrink tape they use for free.

I'm of the mindset that if I'm just swinging flies, it's always mono. Stren catfish for me. But, I also enjoy stripping flies in which case a coated line (I'm not terribly picky there) is the way to go, or better yet, a steamer specific line, but they typically don't spey cast as well.
Love the Stren Catfish mono too!
