I was going to comment that the Classifieds section seems to be lagging a bit, which in the old days, that was one of the more busy and popular forums. Then I saw the note in the bottom right suggesting a minimum number of posts needs to be recorded before you can post, which makes perfect sense from both a buyer protection standpoint and a reason why Classifieds may be somewhat minimal so far. So I guess I'm here to bump up my post count, not that I really have anything I want to sell.

If yer looking to sell a 12' toon that was supposed to go to RickS I'm your huckleberry. I'll still let him have it, but there might be a few grilled cheeses exchanged in the process.

But what if you have something that we want to buy?! Just give the key to your storage unit and I am sure I can find a few things that I’d want to buy, LOL!
Well, we did have that discussion about me wanting to downsize.

I'm drawing a blank on RickS but I won't miss the opportunity to insert a Tombstone reference. Any tomato soup to dunk those grilled cheese sammiches in?

Just being honest. I was a lurker for many many years. My first posts were purchasing in the classified the early days. A great classifieds draws newcomers to make new accounts. I personally think the bar should be ground floor when posting in the classifieds. At least while the site is 4 days old. We know how to weed out the Nigerians.

It’s too bad my damn dog ate that half eaten Clif bar. You probably have some one-off metric raft frame fittings sitting around. You could’ve gotten in on the action! (y)

I am not sure how (wondering) many of the normal, ongoing and trusted sellers were even invited. 10 posts is not that much IMHO. It may slow down the Mike Melfa's hopefully. At least in the short term...

One forum I’m a member of requires 50 posts to be able to post in the classifieds. That may be a bit much as far as required posts, but it gets folks to at least contribute to the forum rather then just the classifieds.
I would think something like that number of posts required would deter someone like the WFF scammer from Texas but you never know.

I was thinking the same thing. I love looking at the classifieds everyday at wff for stuff I don’t really l need but somehow convince myself I do. Still checking wff classifieds on the reg.

I'm betting the Classifieds will be a bit slower until PNWFF(PFF?) gets some traction on Google. Right now we are only folks directly imported from WFF and we don't have the lurker/Classifieds only folks.

I think the required post count is a good idea. Even at 10 post (which is low compared to others) it could keep unwanted folks out and make lurkers like me post. (y)

Guess I have to bump up my post count too. I was going to post my full saltwater set-up which I used only 3 times.
Does anyone know how many posts are needed before we can sell?

I thought it would be nice if we could import our old wff join date, but realize that might take a lot of work from the mods
