Clackamas River

Has anyone floated the Clackamas since the last high water event? I was wondering about new channels to avoid or hazards that have come up??????

PS I am mostly wondering about McIver park to Carver stretch. I was out below Carver yesterday and there were some changes but nothing drastic.
 
I floated from Feldenheimer to Barton today and the only concern is a tree down at the bend next to the house with a totem pole. Stay right of the tree.
 
I hit Barton to Carver and had no new hazards as of two days ago. So the float from Feldheimer to Carver is pretty smooth.

No. both days the water was fairly low and clear. I did not hear of anyone catching anything while I was out. I will get back at it when we get some new water. Heading to the OP tomorrow though and hope to have some luck...
 
That river is always love or hate for me. Mostly hate...

Thanks for the updates on the river dangers. Hope to get out there after the next solid rain event.
