Early in the year, chironomid emergers, I hit one good mayfly hatch, but most the summer I did really good with damsel and dragonfly patterns. Several were caught on mice in the fall, but that doesn't really count as a dry.What type of dries? Asking for a friend![]()
One of those rivers in your area has Browns in it. From what I read someplace. The river is "T". You have to figure out which one it is.Those are gorgeous fish. We used to have browns down here, but no more, not with the ESA listings. Maybe after I find a whitefish I'll head north across the river and see if I can find one.
Try over on the dry side. There is a big river over there that has these bad boys in it. Or just ask Trip.Awesome photos!

Not, to be fair, I am not much of a stillwater fisherman. Which limits my nearby options. Someday I'll get off my ass and work the lakes a bit harder. Or more likely, just go to OR and fish them in moving water.
