My 2021/2022 local Golden eagle on right is watching his pal-the immature Bald eagle, land on one of their favorite perches. These two have been seen together quite a bit now. An odd couple. The bald is getting closer to being an adult, the Golden looks like it has a few years to go still. (Not sure why these are looking so noisy/grainy, not enlarging on touch?). The Golden eagle has a more serpentine look I guess?

This next photo shows the full scene at an already 600mm equivalent, or 12x power. That is where the property line stops for me, plus no reason to bother the birds by moving in.
Not always important to have shots as close as Woodland Park Zoo views. Less power and more landscape is often a more striking view, in my view.

Wholeheartedly agree, Baldy from the other morning from about 100 yds out Your right about things coming out a little grainy).
