    a good stuff thread?

The simplest hacks are usually the best. Mini Mason w/ lid for sips on the water. Compact, sturdy, sealed, and you're enjoying it in glass...

I think you figured it out Steve :ROFLMAO:;)

    WA Stocking Schedule Release?

There's obviously some uniqueness there. I give it odds they're present at good size. Doubt many are targeting, which you have to, and if that were me the last thing I'd do is talk. That said, I know of similar lakes where they are just food for other species, depending on what else is there...

    March Madness 2024

I have Purdue winning the round but would rather see them fall now (not that GU is any easier to deal with at the moment). I don't have either in my FF but the planet seems to have Purdue losing to UConn at the end. I also didn't take UConn for the final.

    WA Online License Purchase

Just for public awareness. Many of the sites are pretty convincing, often pretending to be the actual fish & game department of a given state. Plus a surprising number of them are allowed to list at the top of a search, with little to nothing done to take them down. Smart to keep in mind...

    March Madness 2024

Took me a while to get to sleep afterward, and I'm on eastern time. I have Creighton losing to NC in the final - I lost a little hair last night.

    L L Bean Fly Rods

Orion was top of the line and Guide may have been next one down. I could be wrong but I think they were around at the same time.

    March Madness 2024

Against my sentimental side, I took Zags into the 8, then out. Still generous like the 5 they got going in. Like most of us, I still want MF to get one. I have a 1 playing a 3 in the final w/ NC winning out. My (flawed) logic past the sweet 16 was take the team with the better point guard.

    2-Piece Rods

2 pc all the way. I don't notice the performance difference, especially since mine are 30 yrs old. But the overall convenience is well worth it both on and off the water. That said, if a newer 4 pc is good bang for the buck I'm not against. I was more than happy with the early Rajeff rods (esp...

    L L Bean Fly Rods

They're excellent rods and still among my favorite. I have two of the old Guide Series rods, 2 pc, and that's still my daily driver. Mainly make sure the one of interest is actually a GL blank, you can usually find a consensus among forums and specialty sites. With the exception of some LLB...

    New Motor: Which Color?

My Suzukis were always yellow. Different sport tho. Nice motor Evan, I like the black (y)

Lost at Pass Lake or Rocky Ford Creek

You might still have it, don't rule that out. Otherwise, what Peyton said, I used to find a lot of gear and flies at Pass. Never once w/ owner info - I'm guilty of that myself. Some of it returned thru wff, but as a habitual "gear finder" I'd have a lot easier time returning if I knew right...

    What are you listening to?

You're in good company, Dave. The Age of Aquarius is burnt into my earliest memories. My mom made good use of her copy.

Nice pics Gary. That red Scadden really pops on a clear day, I've taken some good shots of Steve Mooney in his.
