I usually do well with pumpkinheads and rootbeer body/red-ribbed chironies...but prob my most effective is a dragonfly nymph...

My lake fishing skews toward walk in foothills ponds but my answer is orange, gray and olive soft hackles. Love the Olive Willy too.
