You capture/have captured some splendid shots! I get a lot of Dragons "hunting" over the yard in the summer, but they rarely land.

We were fishing an Oroville lake and I saw dragonfly wings floating down from the trees, hmmm. Hung around a bit and then saw merlin take a dragonfly over the lake, take to a tree and pluck the wings and eat rest.

I did a search and found that they do eat dragonflies. New to me, and interesting.

I'm going to vote for female Common Green Darner. ( I've never found them to be common! They've all managed to elude my camera.)
