Some commendable catch and release practices right there. I also prefer the gravel bath prior to release but I just kick them back in the river typically, bending over is too much effort.

Well. I’m not sure where comments are directed. I’m fine fishing with my reel constantly attached. But please don’t kick me in the groin. That would hurt and ruin my double haul. Thanks

It’s like a chest pack reel set holder. Weird.

Someone from Montana came up with that idea because they couldn’t handle the salmon catch with their troutish gear perhaps ?

Amazing invention, just learned of it. But hope I can encourage someone one day to get into the sport knowing this exists.

That is very cool. I imagine the lever style reels don't work well on larger fish, so I can see the need!
