Far Bank? Far Bank is coming out with this new rod? From a recently received Florida Keys Outfitters newsletter:
"Far Bank is coming with the new Sage Salt R8 in early spring. Lighter and with more feel than the Salt HD."
That is very well known....However I have never heard of Far Banks coming out with a new rod, it always been Sage. Sage introduces...Sage presents.... but now its Far Bank......Its like the name Sage is slowly being tucked awayFar Bank own Sage, Redington and Rio.

When we bought our house it was green but we painted it gray with white details and it became much airier and lighter from view. But it was still the same space/walls /innards as the same house. It's gotta be hard on any company to produce the same thing over and over again for decades and call it something new every other year.
Me too. Same with Rio. I prefer rods made by Scott and Loomis and lines made by SA or Airflo.I loved the idea of sage rods back in the day, You know support a Washington based fly rod company. These days I don’t even consider them. That’s just me though.
Skip Loomis and pencil in Winston, otherwise we’re casting in the same direction.Me too. Same with Rio. I prefer rods made by Scott and Loomis and lines made by SA or Airflo.
