With 2 games before the bye, Seahawks have a real shot at putting some space between themselves and the rest of the division.
I see they are road dogs against the Cards, so that's a bit puzzling but worth considering...think we are a better team that is playing well right now.
Bucs in Germany will be interesting, a win there would go a long way in generating national press for the local boys, but this weeks game is the one to win.
Going into the bye at 7-3 would be great, so crossing my fingers here, but even at 6-4 they would definitely be in it with some easy games post bye week.
:)

With only a few exceptions, it’s amazing to see how poor the QB play has been this year…or is it just me?

Maybe we can get Lamar next year in a Silver & Black jersey…it’s time to move on from Derek Carr…
I think it's more that the old guard is fading. There's good QBs coming up that will be replacing those old names in the narratives as time goes on: Hurts, Herbert, Allen, Mahomes, Geno (for a few more years). With Brady, Rodgers and Wilson seemingly on the decline, those names will be on the outs.

I feel like there typically aren't more than 4-5 top tier QBs, then the Kirk Cousins tier previously represented by prime Andy Dalton where you have another rotation of a half dozen to 10. Then the QB carousel, purgatory teams for the rest of the lot.

That wide out that Rogers used to throw to last year, Davante Adams is getting wasted in Las Vegas. Carr doesn't even throw to him hardly. Threw to him 5 times yesterday and he caught 1. He has been frustrated lately also.

You football guys, what do the Seahawks need? They have not hit any home runs lately in trades
A backup QB, Lock isn't that great. I wonder if they could get that Russel Wilson guy from Denver to be Geno's backup 😆 :ROFLMAO:

In all seriousness, not a 'football guy', but I'd be tempted to look at positions where they are already down a starter or a key backup. SS, RB, LB for example. You're one shitty play away from starting your third string guy at those spots. It's probably hard when the team is clicking like the last two games, not wanting to disrupt the chemistry of the team. A guy like Kareem Hunt would be an upgrade over DJ Dallas, or to help keep Walker fresh, but he's got a past and from what I've heard isn't a "team first" guy. It will be interesting to see what the team does.

Considering they are exceeding expectations so far, probably not a lot. That being said, they are known to do the unexpected. Rumor has it they are looking to move Jones, but he won't bring much in return, a later round pick maybe.
Depth is nice, so bringing in a veteran or two for back up in a few places isn't out of the question, see Irvin as an example.

He’s not the only one that’s frustrated…the entire Raider Nation is frustrated…

Seahawks lead the NFC in points scored...
Only the Chiefs have more points scored in the entire NFL.

So not bad for a boring inept offense without Ciara's old man at the helm.
:)

The Donkeys did eek out a win against a two win just plain bad team in the last minute...while we convincingly handled a six win team with a big time running back.
Almost like we got rid of that poser just in time

Bungles are sputtering, while the Browns are playing hard.
Chubb is a man...that dude can run the ball.

So tonight we have a couple of pointers kicking. I just don't get why these kickers step straight back from the spot where the ball will be, then swing their arm up to point at the goal posts, then take two giant steps off to the side. If the guy doesn't know where the fucking goal posts are unless he points at them then maybe he's in the wrong profession.

Wife and I have great fun imagining what they could be saying.
"Okay...kick it that-a-way."
"Yep...they're still there!"
"Oh! Nooow I see them."
"Hey. Look at that babe in row 17!"
