This is skewed a little for Seattle with the big last game but it's interesting to see Denver ranked where Seattle ranked last year for 3rd down conversion. Since Russ was hurt I looked back to 2020 and Seattle ended the year at 27th. Screenshot_20221003-055709_Samsung Internet.jpgAnother troubled sign is his completion percent is around 60%. Worst then last year even. You may see him start taking more chances as the pressure builds.

No comment about the Mahomes touchdown pass . The guys amazing !!!

It's his baseball (shortstop) background, can throw from all angles (there was also his overhand fake to underhand toss that was stopped just short of TD), very fun to watch.

cheers (Go Chiefs)

Mahomes looks like he's just toying with defenders out there...sickening, really....

What I find incredibly hilarious (or hilariRUSS) is the amount of space the Russ still seems to occupy in the Seachicken fans heads....all rent free.

This is a NFL thread. Are we not allowed to discuss Russ?

That's not what I said though....I find in funny that so many fans are still so fixated.

I must not be searching hard enough to find the national attention...

I also find it interesting the scrutiny the Broncos are getting from Seattle fans. It's like they are trying to convince themselves of something.
although the same could be said for many Broncos fans the other way. Honestly, I never thought it would be a super smooth transition with a new QB, new coaching staff, new system....I didn't think they'd look this bad though. I am getting concerned with their coaching staff, but no where near panic mode for the same reasons above. I mean Peyton Manning didn't look great during his first 5-6 games either....not that Russ is Peyton, but still...

Cowherd, McAfee, Skip and Shannon. It's everywhere.
They get paid to talk about that shit. Someone would have to pay me to listen.
Russ has a unique style of play, and he's short. Seattle never really put an O-line around him. As soon as he's gone they beef up the line and insert a QB that has been "in the system" for years and has had a full off season and preseason getting quality reps.
Russ will struggle in a new place, new system, new coaches, new players. It'll be a miracle if it all jells by the end of the season. And if it doesn't there will be some new coaches. Short leash there in Denver.

I’m with you . That’s why I tried to get this off just the one team it seems .

Russel Wilson has been sacked 12 times (6th most). Geno has been sacked 6 times (24th). They have thrown almost exactly the same amount of times. The Seahawks are starting 2 rookie tackles.

So, I have a question for all of you who believed that the o-line was the problem every single year that Wilson was the QB; Do you all get it now?

It was always Wilson. He was the common denominator behind the sack totals.

Pat's lost. They looked better. Tough to win with a rookie 3rd string qb from Western Kentucky in Lambeau. Went to OT anyhow. They are 1-3 after the 1st quarter. Time to come together and play better football. If they can get their starting QB back, I think that they have a chance to be good. Defense is faster. Offense can run it. As BB would say, "We will just have to see."

BB's last 2 drafts have been very good. It's nice to see.

Niners have owned the Rams the last few years but I am not optimistic about tonight. Both O-lines are banged up but the Niners haven't found their run game this year and thats basically what they do. I've been surprised before but just not feeling it this time. If they fall to 1-3 it might be curtains for the year.

Rams line is a tad.... terrible.
Looking like a 4 way tie in the division
;)

Rams don't seem to have much going for them so far.
Kupp can't be the target every play.
🤣

Congrats to the niners.
Defense in the red zone was key to this victory.
