Came across this pattern on a recent interweb trip and liked the idea of tying the “flash” on the rear bottom of the gurgler so it is more visible to the fish.
Hook is an Ahrex NS 122 Stinger which is a great keel for the fly.

I tied lengths of nonlead wire down each side to give this fly a wide, flat profile.

Tail/rear legs 3 rooster hackles on each side- olive grizzly, yellow grizzzly and grizzly
collar: Chartreuse grizzly hackle
body/head: olive over black over green over white deer
eyes: 6 mm
front legs: 2 each olive and yellow balck barred silicone
