Meh...
Minshew is certainly adequate for a run heavy type offense. He'll be ok is my guess, probably have some really good games and some not so good games.
So far he's done ok on lousy teams...

I think that the air raid offense teaches a lot of good things and can prepare a physically able QB for the NFL. In the case of Seattle, he would radically change the amount of time it takes to get the ball out of the QB's hand. He also protects the ball.
NFL quarterbacking comes down to decision making, accuracy and leadership. He seems too have those.
I am for the most part a believer.

He he was definitely a good one. But the free agent market is way over paying right now. Diggs is starting to look like a steal.
The deals come after the cuts, later in the process. The FA's now are the pricier ones.

I agree. Play to his strengths. BUT the coaching needs to make the calls and the player personnel are needed to support the style with the skills. Unfortunately that is not happening with the Hawks - at least with PC....

Yeah I think so, I liked him but that's the biz.
Don't follow the Hawks closely... ?
Hmmmmm.....
Cowboys fan ?
Vikes ?
Dullfins... ?
;)

Cowboys.... (n):ROFLMAO::poop:
I was a Vikings and Rams fan. Deacon Jones was my all time favorite player.
I still like the latter, not the former. Can't believe they extended Cousins, even if just to get his cap number down.
There are some Hawks players I've liked in the past. Jeff Bryant, Dave Brown, Jacob Green and Kenny Easley.

I miss the purple people eaters. I also miss Bloomington Stadium and seeing the occasional game being played in the snow.

Although he is a MSU product, I am glad that Cousins is staying with the Vikings and not coming to Seattle.

I don't even know what to say...
Rams..
Don't park on my lawn ever again.
😆

I grew up with the Colts ... the actual Colts.
Not a fan of Indy team.
Liked the Vikes back in the 60's, again in the 90's.
Looking for a new team to take second place in my fandom....
Thinking it's gonna be the Bengals, maybe the Titans, liked them when McNair was there.

Ironic that one of Russell Wilson's biggest apparent public peeves with the SeaHawks was an absence of adequate pass protection (but he also holds the ball too long) was solved with a draft pick acquired from his trade to the Broncos. Of course, offensive lineman can not only pass block, but also run block, a major leg of Pete Carroll's offense. And I suspect that the future franchise QB for the SeaHawks isn't in the NFL at present. Build the line, strengthen the defense, acquire your franchise quarterback in the draft.

I'm a Drew Lock believer.
In fairness to Lock, Shurmur as OC is great at making QBs look bad...so at least you won't have that.

sure, NOW they get someone to protect their QB....
I mean... they haven't exactly had a top 10 pick in a while... If I recall, the OL guys on the board each time their pick came up over the last decade were not top tier talent, this the drafting issues they had.

Thought they did pass up a few.. Like Humphrey last year when they picked Eskeridge.

Well he's got 6" on Wilson. Wilson is 5'10" tall. Drew Lock is 6'4". I think the Wilson will be a flop for Denver. This is my opinion and I'm standing to it. If Drew Lock can't handle it, we have Eason to fall back on. I have no hope Geno Smith. Don't have no idea why they resigned him.
