lack of an effective running game should be concerning for the Hawks
It's not that bad. Average 4.3 and 3.7yd per carry for Walker and Charbs yesterday. They do a lot of running up the middle. Not necessarily to hit big runs, but to keep the defense playing the run to open up play action opportunities.

Could definitely be better, but it's effective for what they're trying to do overall.

Honestly, if KOC even TRIED to game plan for his QB, he seemed like a guy who could be at least a solid backup. But no, he just threw him to the wolves, called up a very pass-heavy game against one of the toughest defenses in the NFL this year, and had him do stupid stuff like try to pass on 4th and 1 well within field goal range.

Yeah, it just wasn't a good matchup for them. Got behind, gotta catch up, against a good defense...bad things tend to happen.
The Vikes D played ok, good even, but the Max Brosmer era looks to be pretty short.
They made a mistake with JJ...he hasn't exactly been Dyn-O-Mite.

we're now getgting into crunch time

the issue is what Darnold shows up in the playoffs...if he's on, Hawks can be a juggernaut, if he's having one of 'those' games, a running game capable of racking up 150 yards could make all the difference.
The next game between the Hawks and Rams should be a doozy with what's on the line.

If Anthony Bradford would do his job, both would probably be fine.

My beloved Patsies play today. This one has all the hallmarks of a trap. Injuries, late bye week coming, dangerous and unpredictable opponent.

I hope the Patsies win. If they do, it is most likely due to numbers 10 and 32 making a few big plays.

Pats are good, Vrabel gets a lot of credit IMHO.

He was a good coach with a bad owner/ gm prior...

They couldn't beat the Seahawks, but still a good team.

;)

Some big games this week, should make for fine viewing....
Lions Cowboys
Colts Jaguars
Bears Packers
Chefs Texans

Chefs last chance I think, lose and be done, but to be honest...they're walking around with a fork in them already.

:)

Vrabel has been great. He has completely changed the culture and turned the roster over quickly. They seem to love to play for him.

McDaniels deserves a lot of credit. As OC's go, he is top tier. The Patsies don't have much for offensive talent. I hope no one offers him another HC job. He is a HOF caliber OC and a BFI quality head coach.
