Why not just do the fipronil method? You'd just toss some out there in a container nothing else can get into with some fish meat or something and it'll take care of itself in a day or so.
I'm sure that would work, but I tried to avoid spreading pesticides into the greater environment. Sevin Dust was my last good option to kill this lawn nest, and I will dispose of the dusted soil into my trash in a couple days. I only want this nest dead, not all the colonies in the surrounding forest.
