Show me your bass

In Southern California they call it "stitching a Dad". .. We would buy some crawdads, put them on a hook and "stitch" them very slowly and very meticulously along the bottom, while trying to visualize the exact scenario that your art work portrays. For me, you capture the essence of this type of fishing in a truly breathtaking work of art.
 
I almost never photograph fish. I had a few minutes to fish at this dock and figured, what the hay? Boom! First, a couple of 2 pounders and then a five pounder, in less that 20 minutes. I was actually stunned."Pics or it didn't happen" went through my mind. In the following days I always got a five pounder from this dock, and then I took my 6 year old fishing partner there...it was magical.
