Bozeman launches new high end apparel company

Do they have anything as attractive as this?

this is a very old photo. I just wore that old Gortex coat earlier this week while walking in the rain!

@Jojo - no nothing nearly as attractive as that! :D From what I can see they have nothing designed for women.
IMO, just what the planet needs - another high end bunch of goods for Bro cores. Nothing against bros at all, just noting this.
I will pursue Skwala in the old fashioned way. Peace.

They are selling a "tactical" sun hoody.....complete with "ballistic paneling".
Sounds like they are getting buyers ready for a war, not a relaxing day on the river....

I mean, I know there are tires being slashed at launches, but is a $120 tactical sun hoody with ballistic paneling where they are thinking the fly fishing industry is headed?

Sadly EVERY raft or driftboat owner within 100 miles of my house knows what a Skwala is. Too many from farther afield too.
Hardcore? No, just irritating flotsam.

Count me out of anything in fly fishing described as "hard core" - I could care less about being hard core, or any core for that matter. When I go out, I go out to enjoy, relax, soak in the surroundings, be at peace, hey, even being one with the universe. Last thing I want or need is some high-intensity azzhat thinking he has to be hardcore, anywhere near me.

cheers

Seriously though, what is hardcore about fly-fishing? Certainly there are people that fish hard. Grit, determination, prowess, a willingness to be uncomfortable....all traits of people that fish hard. Implications of hardcore to me are routine extreme physical challenge that presents risk.
Sitting in a drift boat, meh.
Taking a drift boat through the Kitchen Sink every day makes the guide hardcore, but not the fisherman in his Skwala apparel.
You’ve never heard of Team Rugged?

Last night we went out to dinner. Jessica Biel was having her birthday party and there were gq bros everywhere wearing cowboy hats.

Bet I see those boys reppin’ Skwala waders this summer on the Gallatin when it’s 90 degrees out.

Sure, Bozeman is the new Aspen, but the real Montanans still have East Helena.

Wait till PBR weekend in Big Sky… like a scene out of West World. That’s one weekend we dip out of town.

I'm deeply into softcore flyfishing. Complete aversion to any fishing excursion that requires grit, determination, prowess, or discomfort.

It's fishing for christs-sake, not wing-suit flying.
