Snug Top for the '99 was just under $2,000. I talked with the dealer a couple weeks ago, and he said expect between 3 and $4,000 this go round, depending on options.Be prepared for sticker shock on that canopy
Have you thought about a soft top collapsible canopy? I saw one the other day and talked to the owner; I might replace my tonneau cover with one. This is about to become my new fishing rig for when the Subaru can't pack all my fishing and camping gear. No. I prefer hard canopies with a carrying rack, but I also consider canopies removable when I need to haul firewood, bark, or whatever.Have you thought about a soft top collapsible canopy?
Removable hard canopy - You are a lot tougher than I am. ;-)No. I prefer hard canopies with a carrying rack, but I also consider canopies removable when I need to haul firewood, bark, or whatever.
It's not so hard with a canopy stanchion: drive through, unbolt, unwire, lift and insert 2x4s. Voila.Removable hard canopy - You are a lot tougher than I am. ;-)
Nice! If the drivability and gear hunting bothers you like it did me there's a local guy that can put a tune on it that helps. Totally safe and no change in MPG, it just helps with shifting. Don't remember what I paid but it wasn't much, less than $200. Highly recommend! This is about to become my new fishing rig for when the Subaru can't pack all my fishing and camping gear.
