Best moment in rock history?

Tragic. I remember the first time I heard him like it was yesterday. I walked into Buck's tavern one afternoon, the place was empty save for one friend of mine. There was this music playing and I said " Wow, who the fuck is that?" She said " Stevie Ray Vaughn", I said " I gotta get that.

Heart is a great choice. Their studio was about 300' from where I lived. Listened to them often when they practiced

Almost got to meet them when they went to the Bearcreak studios(I think it was called that) off Maltby north of Woodinville aftera big limo pulled up.

I used to landscape and baby sit for the owners back in the early 80's.

Their early studio was in Seahurst (next to Plaid Pantry) just west of Burien. My brother and I threw a weekend long party and invited them to join us. Unfortunately they did not accept.

Ran into Heart while at Bad Animals studio on 4th Ave in Seattle many years ago.
Also chatted with Ann while drinking some beers with friends at the J & M Cafe on St Patrick’s day back in the late 80’s.

They were friends w/ a friend of mines sister...
So saw them around a bit back before they were huge stars, around the time they were a cover band playing Led Zepplin and stuff.

A few of my favorite concerts I attended:

Supertramp
Genesis
Jethro Tull
Al Stewart

On vacation in Bend in 1982. In the hotel bar with live local music. A guy walks in and up on stage. Huh? Raised up his sunglasses and then asked for a guitar. Started playing. Boz Scaggs rocked the house.

Ex BIL played drums for Heart out of high school, left them to play in a no-count CW band that had some minor shows in Reno. Soon after Heart got recognized; F’ng loser!
