Fans of 5-12 teams typically do not get excited about the opportunity to go 4-13...or so I am told anyways.

As a Niner fan I'm excited for this season. I'll be even more so when they get Bosa under contract. Purdy gets a real training camp as the #1 and the defense should be even better than last year.

I will be interested in seeing if Geeeno can replicate his season last year or if it was just one of those years guys sometimes have.

Geno dropped off big time in the last half of 2022 and was very fortunate to have had so many dropped INTs. The 49ers have several aging starters and their window may have closed already.

LA RAMS need to rebuild the defense with rookies in 2023. Solidifying the O-line and rediscovering a running attack will help out Stafford. McVay and his coaching staff will be tested the next couple of seasons.
 
I have faith in Geno. The guy seems unbelievably driven to succeed and he sure has plenty of weapons this season.

Purdy will be another interesting one to watch. He sure looked good before getting hurt last year.

I still worry about the Hawks D Line and ability to get to the QB. Doesnt matter how good the secondary is, if NFL QBs are allowed to stand back in a clean pocket consistently they will eat them alive.

I think the most interesting thing to watch will be how long it takes Kyler Murray to have his first sideline meltdown when things don't go his way and whether Mcvay will follow thru with his urge to quit this season after another losing season.
 
Pete Carroll turns 72 this season. My prediction is that his local haters return full force in 2023. Jamal Adams also will struggle in pass coverage.
 
Geno's numbers dropped when his O-line shit the bed in the last half of the season. The two were very much related. If the O-line can hold together a little better (the same thing we've said for 10+yrs) it will work out a bit better.

I have faith in the KC quarterback, can't think of his name off hand, Ma... Myhe... Mar..., whatever, I hear he's pretty good, so looking forward to the chase of a repeat.

Russ is a good QB, but he suffers from delusions of grandeur. Left to his own devises he will implode. He has an established, winning coach now and should regain some of his old form. Will it be enough? Only time will tell.
